Sustainability is important to us at the Head of the Cuyahoga. We expect over 2,500 athletes and spectators from 60+ clubs, 40+ cities in 15+ states to our waterfront boathouse this year.

We are a plastic bottle-free regatta! Please bring your own, reusable water bottle. A water station from the City of Cleveland Water will be available at no cost for refilling.

We are so excited to offer composting for all food waste. There is so much food waste at regattas, and we will divert that from the landfill. Composting Experts will be around to help identify what is compostable.
